Our Homekill Process
We provide stress-free on-farm killing and processing, turning your own farmed animals into our delicious range of smallgoods and prime meat cuts. This includes beef, sheep, pigs, venison, alpacas, and goats.
We can take a minimum of 5kgs of your meat and turn it into any of our small goods range. (please note, some meats are more suitable for products than others) However, if required we can add in our own free-farmed beef, pork, or venison if your meat is less than 5kg. All pork is high-quality New Zealand pork, sourced from our trusted farmers.
We can cut your animals to suit your individual needs, with our aim being to get the most out of each animal for every customer.
We have a minimum 2-week wait time for Homekill processing, however, wait times may vary depending on the time of year and animals needing to be processed. Our area of Farm kill covers the Tutira district right down to the Tararua district. Please note, travel fees apply to each job, and this is calculated on a job-by-job basis. You are also welcome to kill your own animals and deliver to The Wild Game HQ. However, this still needs to be booked in through Jordan by calling 0278559773. Once you have placed your booking, one of our butchers will contact you to discuss your animal.
